Privacy policy

1. Controller (Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR)
Michael Linnerer
Fellerstraße 2a, 83064 Raubling, Germany
Email: politik@linnerer.com
2. General information on data processing
This website is a static HTML site without its own user database. Simply visiting the site does not load any analytics or embedding services; personal data is only processed in the cases described below.
Consent (cookie banner): Your consent is required for audience measurement (Google Analytics, section 6) and for embedding Instagram posts (Behold.so, section 5). These services are loaded only after your active consent. Your consent decision itself is stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) — no cookie is set for this. After consent has been given, however, the services mentioned may set their own cookies (see sections 5 and 6). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser storage.
Interactive maps and app web viewer: The maps on the “CSU Group” and “Traffic” pages (section 7) and the app web viewer on the “My Apps” page (section 9) are likewise loaded only after an active click.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Dogado GmbH, Schildsheider Straße 42, 44267 Dortmund, Germany. When the site is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address (anonymised)
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision of the website). The storage period corresponds to the statutory retention periods of the host. Dogado processes this data exclusively on servers in Germany.
Privacy policy of the host: www.dogado.de/datenschutz
4. Fonts and icons (local)
The fonts used on this website (Outfit, Source Serif 4) and the icon library (Font Awesome) are hosted entirely on our own web server. There is no connection to Google servers, Cloudflare or other external services. No personal data is transmitted to third parties when these resources are loaded.
5. Instagram posts via Behold.so (only with consent)
On the home page, Instagram posts by @michaellinnerer can be embedded after you have given your consent. The service Behold.so (Behold Technologies Inc., USA) is used for this.
When the widget is loaded, your browser connects to servers of Behold.so and, where applicable, Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). Your IP address and other browser data may be transmitted in the process. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
Privacy policy Behold.so: behold.so/privacy
Privacy policy Instagram/Meta: privacycenter.instagram.com
6. Audience measurement with Google Analytics 4 (only with consent)
After your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics is used for the statistical evaluation of website use (e.g. pages viewed, approximate region of origin, device type used) in order to improve the offering.
The analytics script and any cookies are only loaded or set once you actively choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Without your consent no analysis takes place (Google Consent Mode v2, default setting: denied). The IP address is processed only in shortened (anonymised) form.
Recipients / third-country transfer: When Google Analytics is used, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, standard contractual clauses exist as safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) and — for the associated transfer to the USA — Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clearing your browser’s local storage (localStorage); Google Analytics will then no longer be loaded.
Google privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
7. Interactive maps (OpenStreetMap, traffic map) — only on click
On the “CSU Group” page, an interactive map of the districts can be displayed. The map is not loaded automatically: you first see only a placeholder and actively request the map by clicking “Load map”.
The map software (Leaflet) is delivered from our own server; in this respect there is no connection to a content delivery network. Only after your click are the map tiles from OpenStreetMap loaded. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. Your IP address is transmitted to OSMF servers in the process. An adequacy decision of the EU Commission exists for the United Kingdom.
As long as you do not actively load the map, no connection to OpenStreetMap takes place.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent by actively requesting the map).
Privacy policy of the OSMF: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy
Traffic map and planning game (pages “Traffic” and “Paper mill planning game”): The traffic map and the planning game are also only displayed after you click “Load traffic map” or “Load planning game”. The planning game calculates entirely in your browser; your inputs are not transmitted to us or stored (a shared variant is contained only in the link itself). The planning game stores the most recently edited state and variants that you explicitly save only in your browser’s storage (localStorage, entries linnerer-planspiel-zuletzt and linnerer-planspiel-varianten). This data does not leave your device; you can remove it at any time in the planning game itself (“Start over”, delete icon) or by clearing your browser storage. It is embedded into the page by this website itself (address /verkehrskarte/, same server); as with every page view, technically necessary access data (including the IP address) is processed in the host’s server log files (see section 3). The traffic map sets no cookies and stores no data about visitors. So that you do not have to click again on every visit, your consent is saved only in your browser (localStorage, entry linnerer-verkehrskarte); you can withdraw it at any time via “Stop loading the map automatically” below the map or by clearing your browser storage. The map tiles come from OpenStreetMap as described above.
The traffic data displayed (speeds per road section) is retrieved by our server on its own every 15 minutes from TomTom International B.V. (De Ruijterkade 154, 1011 AC Amsterdam, Netherlands). No data about you is transmitted to TomTom in the process. The traffic data itself is anonymised and contains no personal data.
8. AI chatbot “Summi”
An AI chatbot (“Summi”) is offered at the bottom right of all pages, with which you can voluntarily ask questions about the content of this website. The chat window is loaded locally in your browser; data is transmitted to the AI service only when you actively send a message.
Data processed: the message text you enter and the conversation history of the current session (at most the last few messages). No registration is required, no cookies are set and no account is created.
Process: Your request is forwarded via a server proxy on the web server (Dogado, Germany) to the AI service Groq, Inc. (USA), which generates the answer. If this service is temporarily unavailable or overloaded, the request is forwarded as a substitute to Google LLC (USA, service “Gemini API”) and processed there. The web server does not store the chat content permanently; the conversation history exists only in your browser’s memory and is deleted when the page is reloaded. To protect against misuse (limiting the number of requests), your IP address is processed solely in pseudonymised form (as an irreversible hash value) and only briefly; the plain-text IP address is not stored.
Recipients / third-country transfer: Groq, Inc. and, as a substitute, Google LLC, both based in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; when the Gemini API is used free of charge, Google may, according to its own information, use inputs and answers to improve its products – this is another reason not to enter personal data in the chat. Transmitting your inputs involves a data transfer to the USA. Please therefore do not enter any personal or sensitive data (e.g. name, address, health data) in the chat. For personal matters, please use the email info@linnerer.com.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a convenient information offering). Processing and the associated transfer to the USA take place only at your active initiative by sending a message; in this respect the transfer is based on Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR (explicit consent by actively sending).
AI notice: The answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes; they do not constitute legally binding information.

9. App web viewer (e.g. goldFokus) — only on click
On the “My Apps” page, a web view of your own app data (e.g. tournaments, training diary) can be embedded for individual apps (currently goldFokus). This view is not loaded automatically: you first see only a tile selection and actively request the respective app by clicking.
After your click, the web version of the respective app is loaded in an embedded window (iFrame) from its own, separate hosting address (e.g. goldfokus-a893e.web.app). The provider of the hosting infrastructure is Google Ireland Limited or Google LLC (USA, Firebase Hosting). Your IP address is transmitted to Google servers in the process. If you log in to the embedded app, the login and the processing of your app data (tournaments, training diary etc.) take place exclusively within that app via its own Firebase authentication — this website itself receives no access to your login details or app content.
As long as you do not actively select an app, no connection to the respective app hosting address takes place.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent by actively selecting the app) or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract, insofar as you log in as a registered app user). For the associated transfer to the USA: Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR.
The privacy policy of the respective app also applies: linnerer.com/apps/datenschutz/
10. Contact by email
If you write to me by email, the data you provide (email address, name, message content) is stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry. It is not passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contract / pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Storage period: Your data will be deleted as soon as the matter is closed and no statutory retention periods apply.
11. Links to social networks
This website contains links to the following platforms:
- Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland)
- Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland)

- X / Twitter (X Corp., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA)
These are simple hyperlinks. As long as you do not click the links, no data is transmitted to the respective platforms. Only when you click do you leave our website; the respective providers are responsible for data processing on the target pages.
12. Cookies and audience measurement
Without your consent, this website sets no cookies and loads no analytics or tracking services. Only after your active consent in the cookie banner are the services described in section 5 (Behold.so) and section 6 (Google Analytics 4) loaded, which may set their own cookies. The interactive map (section 7) and the app web viewer (section 9) are also only loaded on an active click. No further tracking or automated profiling takes place. The AI chatbot described in section 8 likewise sets no cookies.
13. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights against the controller with regard to the personal data concerning you:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
